The General Director of the Israel's Anti-Trust Authority extended on 20 October 2015 the exemption granted to IATA regarding the operation and management of the Cargo Account Settlement Systems (CASS) program in Israel.

The Cargo Account Settlement Systems is designed to simplify the billing and settling of accounts between airlines and freight forwarders. It operates through CASSlink, an advanced, global, web-enabled e-billing solution.

At the end of 2014, CASS was processing in 96 operations, serving over 500 airlines, general sales and service agents (GSSAs) and ground handling companies.

The on-time settlement rate was 99.99%, settling a combined US$33.4 billion. In the decision, the term of the exemption was extended by additional 5 years until 30 October 2020. Generally speaking, there are no changes to the day to day implemented working procedures as of establishment of the CASS program in Israel.
