Germania which began operating direct flights from Tel Aviv to Baden-Baden (Karlsruhe) and Hamburg as of March 2015 is now planning to inaugurate, beginning in November 2015 new flights from Dusseldorf to Tel Aviv.

In its winter season the company plans to introduce additional new route to Israel, as the airline schedules 2 weekly Dusseldorf – Eilat/Ovda operation. This route is scheduled to be operated by Boeing 737-700, starting November 2nd.

Berlin-based carrier, Germania Fluggesellschaft mbH, founded 1979, is one of the most renowned German airlines. It follows three core businesses: Single-Seat Sale to selected destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, charter flights for tour operators to popular holiday destinations in Europe, North and Western Africa as well as leasing (wet and dry lease).

Germania head of Israel sales Paul Scodellaro said, “The new route to Dusseldorf will allow Israeli businesspeople and travelers to enjoy regular, direct flights to one of Germany's largest commercial centers . This will make it possible to easily reach northern Germany from Israel, with greater accessibility than ever.”

The independent airline’s route network currently comprises more than 50 international destinations. Germania’s main airports are Bremen, Dusseldorf, Erfurt/Weimar und Munich. Germania currently operates ten Boeing B737-700 and eight Airbus A319 aircraft. More and more destinations are operated by new Airbus A319.
