Irish budget airline Ryanair has launched a new winter route from Kaunas Airport (IATA Code KUN) to Eilat Ovda, Israel, starting on November 5 with a twice weekly service.

Kaunas International Airport, is the second busiest civil airport in Lithuania after Vilnius Airport and the fourth busiest in the Baltic states. Ryanair celebrated its new Kaunas to Eilat Ovda flights by releasing seats for sale at prices starting from EUR 14.99 for travel in November, December and January.

These low-fare seats are available for booking on the Ryanair.com website until midnight Saturday, 7 November. Israel is the 31st country Ryanair serves.

The airline is to introduce two more new routes from Eilat Ovda airport to Budapest, Hungary and Krakow, Poland. Ryanair estimates the new routes, which commence in November, will deliver about 40,000 passengers a year.
