The increase of 39% seat capacity will be effected by replacing Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with Boeing 747-400s
Delta Airlines VP Perry Cantarutti said last week that Delta Airlines has taken the decision to increase seat capacity on its Tel Aviv-New York route by 39%. The increase will be effected by replacing Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with Boeing 747-400s.
Cantarutti added that the Boeing 747-400 will have 403 seats, compared with the 216 seats on the Boeing 767-300ER. According to the official announcement 65 of the additional seats will be business class and 338 seats will be tourist class.
