Israel & Germany agreed to open aviation talks

Under discussion are the question of multiple designation, the number of bilateral frequencies, the route schedule and an amendment of the bilateral code-share arrangement

Israel's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) director-general Udi Zohar said last week that a meeting to reopen discussions over bilateral aviation agreement had been scheduled with the German Aviation Authority for the third week in February in Jerusalem.

It is understood that the CAA was under heavy pressure to re-open talks following months of deadlock.

No further details have been given about the talks but it is understood from saurces in Germany that under discussion are the question of multiple designation, the number of bilateral frequencies, the route schedule and an amendment of the bilateral code-share arrangement.
