The Ministries of Transport of Israel and Romania signed last week a new aviation agreement which will enable each country to appoint two airlines to operate scheduled flights on routes between Israel and Romania.

The new agreement which was signed by Mr. Avi Ben-Hur, Senior Deputy for International Relations, Civil Aviation Authority of Israel, and Mr. Catalin Radu, Director General National Civil Aviation Administration (NCAA) of Romania, will enable airlines from the two countries El Al and Tarum Romanian Airlines to operate up to 14 scheduled passenger flights a week on the route between Tel Aviv and Romania without any capacity restriction.
