Following the approval made three months ago by the Israel Ports board of directors, Israel Shipyards will shortly start operating Israel's first non-governmental port.

The company is due to submit its proposed terms of operations to Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz and the acting Finance Minister.

Once the terms approved by the ministries the company will be able to begin work.
