ZIM Integrated Shipping Services continues to improve service to its customers. The company today announced that starting December, the B/L’s will include a QR Code located on the top right, at the “Remarks” section of the B/L.
This new feature enables a quick and immediate recognition of the B/L details by any smartphone or tablet application, linking automatically to the B/L’s tracing details on ZIM’s web site. With this new feature, the customer or agent can scan the code and instantly be connected to the tracing results page on the web, saving time and avoiding typing errors.
Activating and using the QR code is intuitive and simple. It requires: a QR Code application and an internet connection on the smartphone/tablet.
